NEW ALBUM
Marko Hietala is set to release his highly anticipated new album, ’Roses From The Deep’ on February 7, 2025, through Nuclear Blast Records. Following the success of his previous album, Pyre Of The Black Heart, this new project continues to blend elements of progressive rock, folk, and symphonic metal while drawing inspiration from myth and nature.
The album features a collection of tracks that delve into deep emotional themes, including the recently released singles Left On Mars, a duet with former Nightwish bandmate Tarja Turunen, and Impatient Zero. Hietala describes Impatient Zero as a reflection on battling inner demons and the harsh reality of exposing those struggles to the world.
’Roses From The Deep’ will be available in various formats, including a double vinyl gatefold in oxblood red and a CD jewel case. With contributions from his bandmates Tuomas Wäinölä (guitar), Vili Ollila (keyboards), and Anssi Nykänen (drums), this album promises to showcase Hietala's powerful vocals and emotive songwriting, solidifying his place in the metal scene.
